With this release, anyone who participates in the conversation thread gets alerted regardless of whether they were @mentioned.
If you do not wish to receive email notifications for every reply, uncheck the email box for "Replies to conversations I'm following," you can adjust your Personal Settings to reflect this.
Additionally, you can choose to:
- Follow threads - if you haven’t participated in a conversation and want to get alerted of any updates to the thread
- Unfollow threads - if you want to stop receiving notifications for replies to a thread you’ve participated in
To get started, @mention someone in a conversation and watch them reply to your thread without needing to continually @mention them in subsequent comments. Everyone who has participated in the conversation will receive an alert! Learn more.
